The Third Van Agt cabinet was the executive branch of the Dutch Government from 29 May 1982 until 4 November 1982. The cabinet was formed by the christian-democratic Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) and the social-liberal Democrats 66 (D'66) after the fall of the previous Cabinet Van Agt II. The cabinet was a centre caretaker government and had a minority in the House of Representatives. It was the last of the three cabinets of Christian-Democratic Leader Dries van Agt as Prime Minister. Progressive-Liberal Leader Jan Terlouw served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs. The rump cabinet served until the election of 1682.[1]
