Map[edit]

The map is good, but without another map providing context for the location within Thailand it's not very helpful. I'd suggest adding this map, but I don't know how to add it while retaining the layout of the info box. Can anyone help? Pinkville 10:54, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't think should be necessary. The Infobox already contains a link to the next higher level, and then the next would ask for a location map of Thailand on the world. And e.g. the locator map in Macon County, Georgia doesn't have any reference of the higher level as well. For towns I tried to add a bit more context, see e.g. Image:Location Lampang town.png, maybe something like that would be helpful? andy
Actually, yes, the Lampang image with inset is a very helpful model. The difficulty with the Chaiya map is partly the result of Thailand's eccentric shape - and so the map almost seems to be upside-down to a viewer unfamiliar with the country's geography.
