Liverpool F.C. contributions[edit]
Hey Ska-n-B! I've just been following your many edits to the Notable former players section of the Liverpool F.C. page. I think it's cool that you're getting stuck in with updating the articles. Slightly sadly, noticing all your updates to the notable players section drove me over the edge (I'm wasn't a fan of the section anyway) and I started a discussion on the article's talk page about removing the section entirely. I just thought you might be interested in contributing. If not don't worry, I just thought it might be a good learning experience (I didn't really notice the talk discussion pages for a few weeks after joining up). A good tip for keeping on top of talk page discussions is to add page's that you work on to your watchlist. Cheers, aLii 01:19, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair use images[edit]
Hi there. Images such as Image:Liverpool FC logo.png are copyrighted and only allowed in Wikipedia under fair use; Wikipedia's fair use policy states that using them just for decorative purposes, such as illustrating players' biographies, is not allowed. The image is only allowed in articles about the subject of the image itself and if the image contributes to the content of the article. Please consider reverting your recent additions to players' biography articles. Qwghlm 21:21, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Indeed, I have rolled back your contributions. If you made any changes other than adding the logos, please check the articles again. Thanks, ed g2s • talk 09:52, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop adding this and other logos to your otherwise excellent player articles. It jeopardises the right to use the LFC logo at all. ArtVandelay13 17:45, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs[edit]
Hello Ska-n-B! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 1,894 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Laurie Hughes - Find sources: Google (books · news · newspapers · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · NYT · TWL

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
