Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution, so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. If you are unable to create an account due to your institution's IP address being blocked, follow these instructions. If you are autoblocked repeatedly, contact your network administrator or instructor and request that your school contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on its proxy servers so that blocks will affect only the intended user. Administrators: review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, consider a soft block using {{School block}}. In response to vandalism from this IP address, abuse reports may be sent to its network administrator for investigation. Educational institution staff and network administrators wishing to monitor this IP address for vandalism can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |
Due to persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from your school, library, or educational institution's IP address may be blocked (disabled). You will continue to have access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address might also be disabled.
If account creation is disabled and you are unable to create an account elsewhere, you can request one by following the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. If editing is required for class projects, please have your instructor or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at the Unblock Ticket Request System with a contact email address that is listed on your school's website. Thank you for your cooperation.

Request reason:
Decline reason:
- As User:Amatulic was the one who issued the block, I find it important to endorse the decline above as an uninvolved party, as I was in the process of declining the request myself. As you seem to implicitly agree with the block by stating that "this is a request not to necessarily remove the block" I see no justification for endorsing an unblock. Likewise, the duration appears justified as multiple blocks of shorter length have previously been issued, followed by the resuming of unconstructive edits after each of those blocks has expired. Note that only anonymous editing has been blocked; registered editors of Wikipedia may still log in and edit from this location if desired. Note that reason as given in the block log appears to have been amended to say {{schoolblock}}. --Kinu t/c 22:51, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- I also wanted to agree with the logic used by Amatulić, Wikipedia isn't staffed by idiots. We know how the system can be "gamed" and if people are serious about making contributions, they can do so with their own, personal account. If there's a problem, perhaps they can contact their school administration and ask them about policing their own computers better? Oh wait, that would ruin the trick. --Bobak (talk) 04:23, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- [Same person who wrote the unblock request here] Very well. Truth to be told, I have an account myself and have been editing Wikipedia for years, but I just wanted this school to have an accurate reason for the blocking and have recognition for the few serious edits that were made. Some of the recent ones were me actually, I just didnt use my account, no real reason other than laziness. Indeed the several month to just over a year block lengths in the past were circumnaviagted and I actually have no idea what is going on with other high schools, so I shouldnt have said "three years" was quite long. 70.167.157.226 (talk) 20:23, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- One last thing to note: This school has a normal September-June school year, so for maximum effect, the block should expire in July/August 2013 or be extended to late June/July/August 2014. 70.167.157.226 (talk) 19:22, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
February 2014[edit]
Hello, I'm Excirial. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Palos Verdes High School, because it didn't appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 21:04, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
