Belton lake is said to have been built over an ancient city im very curious if this rumor is true —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.122.71.161 (talk) 22:42, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There were several small settlements in that valley before it was dammed, but I'm not sure there are many cities in central Texas that I would label as 'ancient'. Could you give some more details as to what the rumor is? Kuru talk 23:28, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
