[Untitled][edit]

The introduction needs a total rewrite. It looks like it was written by a child. --||bass 05:41, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[]

then change it, don't complain. WP:BB Clubmarx 05:57, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[]

cuisine[edit]

Any reason why the note on "martini luge" was dropped from here? They are a common form of ice sculpture at parties - often quite elaborate. Is the problem that the note looked like a promotion for Martinis? They are also called "vodka luge" or "drink luge" - would one of those be better? Aymatth2 (talk) 19:00, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[]

ice block[edit]

How can I create an ice block (for ice sculpting) at home?

the introduction is a complete mess!
sounds partly like advertising, partly like being copy pasted together from somewhere.
some of the facts sound fishy too, does anybody know that stuff better than me????

You really can't create one at home, the specially designed machines are used because they prevent air bubbles and other imperfections from freezing into the ice, these imperfections can and will cause the ice the break when being carved, the water needs to be constantly circulating to keep these air bubbles from forming. This is why the ice used for carvings closer resembles crystal than an ice cube you could make at home.... Francesmccallum 15:08, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[]

Ice crystals[edit]

There are many different solid states of water ice. Which one(s) are applicable here? Any non-trivial ones? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.40.48.159 (talk) 19:53, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[]
