[Untitled][edit]

Hmm... I changed Zbyzko to Zbyszko before noticing the Zbyšek - Zbyszek - Zbyszko - Zbyzko back and forth. Is there a guideline on what version of the character's name to use? For reference, English translation by Samuel Binion available on Project Gutenberg uses Zbyszko and Macko. -- Grlewand 04:22, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

  • In the Jeremiah Curtin translation it is Zbyshko and Matsko so this is what I have used in the plot description. Ivankinsman (talk) 10:34, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

"The Germans"[edit]

Not even having read the novel I find the continuous mention of "the Germans" intriguing. Surely not even Sienkiewicz is so simplistic. (What does it say about the creator of the article?) Would someone pl. improve on this? Otherwise I'll do it later. Streifenleopard (talk) 00:59, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
