Ganji Bar

Ganji Bar is the lower valley region from the old flow of the rivers Satluj and river Beas or river Hakra to river Ravi. In Ganji Bar there are several villages like Chak no 54 Shankar, Chak no 55, Chak no 53 Mansorpur, Chak no 56, Chak no 65 and 66 and some others. In Chak no 54, there are two big families. 1st of them Mian family, and also known as Dolowalia Family (Ch:Khoshi Muhammad. and Muhammad Akbar Tahir Son of Khoshi Muhammad, Mian imtiaz Akbar, Mian Asad Hussain, Mian Asif Hussain, Mian Kashif Hussain, are grandsons of Ch khoshi Muhammad.(چوہدری خوشی محمد). District lying in this area is Faisalabad.
Bar is the name given to areas in Punjab which were thick forests or barren lands before the advent of the new canal irrigation system.
The dominant culture of this region is Bari Culture and native language spoken is Punjabi, spoken with various dialects. After the introduction of canal system, many lands of this area were granted to people mostly belong to various districts of Eastern Punjab.
