Talk:Loyalty program cashback
Jump to navigation Jump to search
I have a hard time believing that point-based cashback loyalty programs only emerged with the onset of e-commerce. Many stores had punch cards or other rewards systems that rewarded loyalty with cash or related prizes. --MichaelZimmer (talk) 02:21, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- You're right. It's absolute garbage. My mom got them, I bet yours did, too. See: S&H Green Stamps. Some people seem to think that business practices didn't exist before the internet. Fan-1967 02:24, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Merge[edit]
I'd endorse the merge, but take as little of this article as possible, and just leave it as a redirect. This looks like a pretty poor excuse for an article, with a huge percentage of linkspam. Wouldn't be the first article that was created just as an excuse for the links. Online shopping rewards is a decent article with no links. Fan-1967 02:38, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. Just a redirect is likely sufficient. --MichaelZimmer (talk) 13:52, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Since this page has done nothing but attract commercial linkspam, I have been bold and redirected. Nothing worth merging. Fan-1967 14:12, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
