Article

Dictionary of Western Australians

Portion used

The image shows only the book cover, which represents a very small proportion of the actual work, especially considering how little creative effort went into it (i.e. it is a thoroughly boring cover). Note that the cover image includes the Bicentennial Australia Logo, which is the copyright of the Australian Bicentennial Authority. It is necessary to include this logo because it is an intrinsic part of the cover.

Low resolution?

The resolution of this image is insufficient to allow commercial reproduction of the cover, not that anyone in their right mind would want to do so.

Purpose of use

The purpose of the image is to illustrate the subject of the article.

Replaceable?

It is not possible to illustrate the Dictionary of Western Australias with a free image, because the dictionary is itself subject to copyright. This image therefore cannot be replaced by a free equivalent.
