Ryan Lindstedt was born January 27, 1984 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. During his childhood he moved around several times, eventually ending up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota for the majority of his adolescence.
After attending graduationg from Park Senior High, he attened University of Minnesota Morris for 2 and a half years. From there he moved to Bozeman, Montana where he attened school at Montana State University - Bozeman.
