This Page Should Not Be Deleted[edit]

Someone let me know that this page exists and I was shocked to see that someone disputes the validity of this information. I am Rahman Johnson and all the things contained herein are true. I supposed that someone hasn't done his or her research.

Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right spots. Could you add a link to the article to the Nickelodeon site or another major media website that verifies that you are the host of Splat? SPLAT[edit]

The Florida Times Union should be enough. The show is no longer on the air but it can be verified that I spent two seasons as host. You may google rahman johnson - splat and that may help. I'm not sure what more I can tell you other than you may need to research further. If needed you may also want to contact Nickelodeon Talent in New York.

Rewrite[edit]

I have withdrawn the nomination of your article for deletion, so I don't think it is going to be deleted. The article will have to be rewritten, so I am starting a list on the article's talk page of facts that can be verified; if you would like to contribute, you can. It is against Wikipedia policy (WP:AUTO) to write an article on yourself, so someone else will write the actual article, and it will end up sounding all dry and factual I'm afraid - kind of like an encyclopedia. But at least there will end up being an article...

I apologize again for writing that some of the things in the article were not true; I should have done better research. I still think that some of the things in the article are kind of stretching it... but, not worse than most people's resumes. :-) The real problem was, you shouldn't have been writing an article on yourself and writing it like a resume. Thanks for being considerate. I actually didn't put this up -- my agent did and used my name, so I didn't write this. It is all very true and very factual. By trade and education I am a journalist. I try to make sure that everything I do is well put together and in the least factual. Again, I'm sorry that you didn't find this info but everything containted in there was true. Just ask an eight year old that saw the show! Again, sorry for all of the confusion and I hope that you guys find all of the info you need. By the way -- you can check out clips of SPLAT on my site when you get a chance.
