Welcome Jauffre
Hi there Jauffre. Welcome to Wikipedia, its always good to see new users. When you get a chance, drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself! You might also like to put a short introduction on your user page so that other wikipedians can get to know you. Make some great edits, and I'll return the favour with a barnstar of your own! Thanks for the barnstar, by the way :D
You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp.. Signing your name is important on talk pages because it helps people get in touch with you. Also remember to indent each of your comments using : so that other users can follow the flow of discussions
As well as editing wikipedia you could also think about taking part in many other essential activities that make wikipedia a friendly place. For example you could welcome new users to wikipedia or you could try mediating discussions between other users. There are loads of other options at the Wikipedia:Community Portal. Some links to get you started in the community:
- The new users Welcome page is a good place to start.
- Wikipedia:Tutorial runs through all the basics of editing an article and using Wikipedia.
- Wikipedia:How does one edit a page is a great resource to help aspiring editors.
- Wikipedia:Manual of Style has all the information on how a wikipedia article should look.
- Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines tell about the principles we operate on. It's important, but don't try to read it all now!
- Wikipedia:Help has a broad range of general help topics you may find useful.
- Wikipedia:Help desk is a good place to ask questions and get answers.
- Wikipedia:Show preview explains how to double-check your edits before saving.
If you have any questions or just want to chat then leave a message on my talk page and I'll answer as soon as possible. Happy editing, Killfest2—Daniel.Bryant 09:08, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- This personalised welcome message was modified from Tmorton166's fantastic customised welcome message.

Testing, and wondering how people are vandalizing Wikipedia with my IP address. 204.153.88.7 14:26, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
