Location[edit]

The name of the accident site is given differently in the title and the first para. Yattalgoda is not particularly near Kurunegala, being about 2/3 of the way from Colombo to Kurunegala.

Trains from Badulla to Colombo travel via Kandy, whereas Kurunegala is a main station on the separate line to Kilinochchi, Trincomalee and Batticaloa in the north and north-east. According to the Sri Lanka Government Information Centre, http://www.gic.gov.lk/gic/index.php?option=com_findnearest&task=train, there are no trains from Badulla to Kurunegala; unsurprisingly as there is no direct track, only via Colombo which is a terminus station. Trains no longer seem to be named so that doesn't help in checking the facts. Chrismorey (talk) 03:08, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
