Air or Vacuum Brakes[edit]

Do Tanzanian Railways use air or vacuum brakes?

How steep was the line where the runaway started?

And what was the cause of the brake failure? Poor maintenance, ok, but what specifically? How did the brakes fail suddenly on a static train? This article needs a bit more detail. Afterbrunel 19:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
