This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Who in Iraq understands what's spraypainted on the walls? I live in Chicago and I don't get the scribble-scrabble! DonMEGĂ60645Talk|Contribs 13:52, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Belongs at wikinews[edit]
Seriously, there is no way this belongs on Wikipedia. The article isn't encyclopedia-esque and it's sort of current event related. Gritironskillet 09:26, 30 September 2006 (UTC) i agree but it still is not that good for wikinews 65.95.105.155 (talk) 03:36, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
"exported to Iraq by the US military"[edit]
I removed: "American gang graffiti constitutes one the first cultural (albeit criminal) products to be exported to Iraq by the US military."
The U.S. military did no such thing. Members of the military did. For example: Megacorp sends a guy on a business trip to East Jabip. While he's there, he buys a snowglobe for his daughter. Did Megacorp buy a snowglobe in East Jabip? No, the guy did. Even if 50 other Megacorp employees do the same thing, Megacorp didn't have anything to do with it.
And I agree, this is a questionable topic for wikipedia. Probably belongs in wikinews. Mdbrownmsw 18:56, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
the name "trashman" appears in several prominent locations in Iraq as well. Oftentimes written in the same style as 1950's horror movie titles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.10.166.245 (talk) 19:00, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

List of gangs in the US military - citation needed[edit]
A source is needed for this list. When you click on the link for each gang it takes you to a general article about that gang. I searched the articles of a couple of them and nowhere is there a mention of the U.S. military. Where did this list come from? Ileanadu (talk) 01:32, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
