"Merge with Atlantic Express" suggestion[edit]

I checked the Atlantic Express article and found that it confused two airlines. There's a current Atlantic Express, flying ATR42s from Stansted to Jersey, and there's the completely separate pre-EOS incarnation of the name. I think the Atlantic Express article should by default refer to the current airline so I've rewritten it (still only a stub) to reflect that.

Hence I don't think it makes sense to merge the articles. It may make sense to provide some info on Atlantic Express here in the EOS article and I'll add that now. But I vote against merging. Ecozeppelin 10:37, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

I have sorted out the two Atlantic Express articles one is now a disambiguation page so I am removing the merge request as all the information on the pre Eos Airline is now in this article MilborneOne 11:23, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Makes No Sense to me[edit]

I dont see the correlation between the two airlines??? Why the change. I also vote against the merger.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Titelmadchen (talkcontribs) 00:40, 5 September 2006

There are two Atlantic Express articles Atlantic Express and Atlantic Express (airline) both mention the UK airlines and also mentions EOS a bit of a mess that needs sorting, I would say dont merge but the two Atlantic Express articles need merging/sorting MilborneOne 09:54, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

POV - ADVERT - NOT NEUTRAL[edit]

Isn't the introductory paragraph written a bit like an ad? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.249.65.188 (talkcontribs) 17:29, 13 May 2007

I stand corrected; more of the article is written like a commercial. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.249.65.188 (talkcontribs) 18:51, 25 May 2007

I agree... it is not just the 1st paragraph... the whole thing is add-like. 24.190.47.233 06:15, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Article tidied up - awaiting for any comments before removing POV tag. MilborneOne 11:23, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Done I agree that the latest amendments by MilborneOne have broadly resolved the neutrality of the article and will therefore remove the POV tag. SempreVolando 18:40, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Shame![edit]

This is a real shame though, EOS pioneered this and don't get to follow it through. Anyone else ever every fly EOS? I turned up 30 minutes before take-off once, and they rushed me through! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spanielsharp (talkcontribs) 10:15, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the comment but this page is for discussion on the article and not a blog or discussion forum. MilborneOne (talk) 11:38, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
