Conclusion[edit]
Of all the options available here, the last example (|width=auto |labelwidth=120) appears to be the most consistent across different fonts, browsers, and font sizes. To test this, hold <Ctrl> and scroll your mouse wheel— note that (adult) and (child) are less likely to wrap to an extra line as character width increases compared to the other arrangements. It is therefore recommended that editors choose a mix of automatic sizing (table width) and specific sizing (label or field width) when using this template, with the caveat that fixed-width labels are preferred over fixed-width fields because fields (rather than labels) should grow to accommodate text as the size of the brower font increases.
Note: the optimum labelwidth setting (and/or fieldwidth setting) will be different depending on the size of the image used and the amount of text in the fields.
