Merge[edit]

I think whoever put the Merge tag on this article is being ridiculous. This article deals specifically with ONE TOPIC: "College Radio in India." It's not college radio generally, it's a very specific topic, and to compress it down to a section in some larger article would only lower its quality. While there should definitely be a link to this article from the more general Campus Radio article, it should not be merged. --68.101.39.234 03:27, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

I feel its not ridiculus (though I haven't placed the tag). A merger is justified as the articles doesn't mention anything notable, and by itself is not worthy of encyclopedia entry. Instead of deleting it, it was found that if merged with the parent article, the parent article can be made more comprehensive and at the same time noting all the important points mentioned in the article. If, at a later date, some notable developments take place, the article can be re-created. — Ambuj Saxena (talk) 06:21, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
