"Currently held"[edit]

Wikipedia is not a newspaper. there is no place for such thing as "currently held". The year must be indicated (and what was in past years is advisable to have as well). `'mikka (t) 18:59, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

karate[edit]

Why is karate listed as a sport and then listed again as a category of four different competitions. Taekwondo has both forms competitions and sparring competitions. Track and field probably has a dozen different events. I don't think karate should be a seperate category like that. -ErinHowarth (talk) 23:13, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
