I think the photo that describes Bellaire @ HW 6 is a wrong photo. Why ??? Well the photo displayed here is really 610 West Loop nearing the galleria. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.240.205.50 (talk) 19:40, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Propose resegmenting the history[edit]

Currently the "Development and Urbanization" section and the "Recent Developments" section contain a significant amount of overlap. I recommend using the annexation of Alief by Houston as a division point in the community's history. The division would limit the "Development and Urbanization" sections to events before annexation started in the 1970s. Thoughts/ opinions/ questoins/ concerns? Propose dividing the "Recent deveolpments" section into additional sections[edit]

This change would create an additional subheading under history for the annexation of Alief, from 1970- the last annexation so far in the late 1980's. The section would cover all of the major changes that Alief underwent during annexation. Thoughts/ opinions/ questoins/ concerns? Dragon of wiki (talk) 18:43, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea as long as each subsection contains >1 sentence. You're doing a great job with the article. Postoak (talk) 02:07, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

County block book maps[edit]

In addition to the block book maps of the original townsite, I found:

Parkglen Boundaries and info[edit]

There is a subdivision called Parkglen which is at /http://parkglen.net/

The Harris County Tax Assessor site disambiguates this Parkglen with "Alief" opposing the one in Deer Park.

Overall map is at http://web.archive.org/web/20091129005706/http://www.parkglen.net/map.html and I also found the county block book maps.
