Another GA review[edit]

Woah, that one above was odd...anyways, I'm passing :) Just a few notes to improve.

  • The image could do with an expanded fair use rationale.
  • An image from the music video would be nice
  • "the track was nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance but lost to Jay-Z's "99 Problems"" - Don't use "lost"
    • I don't think "lost" is the best word in this context - use "But Jay-Z's "99 Problems" won the award" etc...I dunno, I just don't like the word :) — H2O —  22:07, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Rename "Credits" section to "Personnel" and add a ref for it, if possible (can just cite the album)

If you have any questions/comments, leave a note on my talk page. Cheers, — H2O —  09:01, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Dead external links to Allmusic website – January 2011[edit]

Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 1 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. If a new location cannot be found, the link(s) should be removed. This applies to the following external links:

Tribute Cover deletion[edit]

I think that deleting the mention of the tribute cover is unnecessary. Music is ever evolving and this article is about ONE song and the artist's personal story regarding the circumstances of an accident and overcomming the obstacles faced when one has their jaw wired shut. I think therefore that any other artist (singer) who has their jaws wired shut and perform this song, their's would be an obviously applicable mention in this article. IF this article were about Kayne West it may not be appropriate, but THIS article is about a song, car accident and wiring shut of jaws. I say it stays. out of town, don't want to put my info on hotel computer, sorry wikians! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.184.105.239 (talk) 00:58, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Writing credits[edit]

I'm looking at the liner notes for The College Dropout right now, and Kanye West does not have a songwriting credit for this track. Is it because it's a freestyle over an unaltered (albeit sped-up) beat? It says:

Through The Wire
(D. Foster, T. Keane, C. Weil) (BMI)
"Through The Wire" contains a sample from the Chaka Khan recording "Through The Fire".

Any thoughts? The article should probably be amended.
