Dyslexic[edit]

Is Sophie only dyslexic? I have heard she was an analphabet. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 21:45, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

She is illiterate. The film only mentions dyslexic once, when Melinda asked Sophie if she were dyslexic. Sophie actually can't read at all. The NYTimes review reference says dyslexic, but I think they made a mistake. Ajarehi (talk) 01:37, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
You are both right. Sophie is totally illiterate, to the extent that she cannot even work out the value of her small change. Whoever thinks she was dyslexic and created a link to films about dyslexia should correct their entry. --Hors-la-loi 09:02, 30 June 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hors-la-loi (talkcontribs)
Revisiting this page, I've deleted two of the three mentions of dyslexia. --Hors-la-loi 11:06, 24 August 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hors-la-loi (talkcontribs)
