Conservative Underground discussion[edit]

This is the discussion page for the new Conservative Underground article. This article has been deleted twice before for not meeting the criteria in WP:WEB, and I have been warned not to move this article into the main namespace again until/unless it meets the criteria. So please read WP:WEB, and help me make this article fit the guidelines. Please sign your comments on this discussion page with four tildes. ie: ~~~~ Do not sign your edits on the article itself, but please use the edit summary box. Crockspot 01:04, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Basically, I started with the last article that was deleted (there wasn't much to it} and added a bunch more. Notable events and exclusive content are particularly important to meet the WP:WEB criteria. I also need to know the date of the Wolverines Incident. So if anyone can let me know when that was, please do so. Sources and links are important too. Crockspot 01:08, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

There's absolutely no point in an article that defines itself in terms of something it's not. Either you have your own notoriety or you don't. There's also no point in an article whose sole purpose is bragging - i.e. "we did this, we did that".

That's probably why you were deleted, and yeah, it should stay that way. CopyMyLoad 16:05, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

The article as deleted was a stub with almost nothing in it. The exclusive Gannon interview may qualify it for WP:WEB. I won't move it to the main namespace until I am comfortable that it does. Do you see any problem with the Democratic Underground article under your same concerns? Crockspot 16:41, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Not there yet[edit]

As of this posting, I am still not satisfied that this article meets WP:WEB. It has improved greatly from its original state, but it isn't there yet. It will remain in my namespace until notability can be documented by reliable sources. Crockspot 20:26, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

I really have no objection to a web page on any reasonably well-known internet group, wingnut or not. But, dude, you're gonna have to work on the notable events. Get into a bar-fight, have a demonstration, hold a member sign-up rally for the Army, do _something_. Cause what you got is more pitiful than notable.
Btw, is Gator the old Gator1 from here? He turned out to be an ok guy after a while. If it is, in all seriousness give him my regards. It sucked what happened to him here. Derex 08:39, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
I'm not familiar with userspace articles. If I see a possible improvement should I edit it like a regular article? Edison 05:12, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Feel free. This article is intended to go main some day, but it doesn't meet WP:WEB yet, so any improvements are welcome. Crockspot 17:03, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
