Advertising[edit]

This part of this article: Another level of development is Automatic Multi-Level Parking Systems. Gone are the days when you had to search for an empty parking spot in those underground parkings. Palis is one such technology which makes life easier in the parking lotsSounds more like an advertisement.

The link of reference 4 has expired (http://www.modbee.com/life/wheels/story/8015603p-8880060c.html) . Does anyone know where it linked to? --sattath (talk) 09:12, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Remove, redirect, or merge?[edit]

Is this a real article. What it describes is trivial. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.211.166 (talk) 21:26, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Isn't this article the same as Intelligent_Parking_Assist_System? Both links from a previous Wikipedia page I was viewing (Vehicular automation) said "Automatic Parking", and one took me here and the other took me there. I think a redirect or merge is in order. 67.236.106.87 (talk) 18:36, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

The redirect links from Vehicular automation to Intelligent Parking Assist System and Automatic Parking are corrected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CyberCarteBlanche (talkcontribs) 11:58, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Merger proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion is to merge and redirect Self-parking to Automatic parking

Shouldn't Self-parking system be merged with this page? Looks like it covers the same subject. --Narayan (talk) 18:27, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

The description in Self-parking system seems trivial. In contrast, the article on Automatic parking describes the topic more in-depth by providing links to references and video clips to illustrate the topic and its development history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CyberCarteBlanche (talkcontribs) 12:15, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
